People just need more imagination. My shard has a pretty wide variety at the top. Granted, it's not super old ( i started last spring), but I'm still running g11 mace, and finish first dependent on sniping. We have 2 chimaeras running right now in top 10, and two that switched back to tarkin. There's still a couple ackbars that creep up for an earlier payout time, as well. Anyone can beat anyone if you try hard enough. Don't blame the devs for the overall lack of strategic imagination of the player base.
