Fleet team doubts Ackbar or Tarkin?

Look at your fleet arena rankings. The answer is there.

My top 20 is 3 Tarkin and 17 AA.

4/5 of your starting lineup synergize better with Ackbar than with Tarkin. Go with Ackbar.

If you had every 7 star ship maxxed and ready to go, Tarkin would be better IMO.

I'm top of shard and I've used Tarkin since day one. Never had a problem. Also you'll be glad you used Tarkin later when you suddenly want/need to zeta farm

@WompWompRat I was able to 3* the Tarkin T5 event and the Zeta ability challenge with a level 70, 6* Gear VI Grand Moff Tarkin. I feel the individual ships are much more important in ship battles than the fleet commander. Now going back Tarkin or Ackbar it is all about synergies. Ackbar works well with ships that get bonuses for attacking outside of their turn while Tarking does good with applying target lock and ships using that for better attacks. Ackbar also does a little better on defense being able to heal damaged or debuffed ships. As for Mace his time has come and gone. He was good for time out teams, but with being able to speed up the battles there is no longer a need for him.

Tarkin is awesome with some debuffers. I've seen my fotp land 80k on his special. Also his ai has little room for error unlike ackbar. Only issue is tarkin is a bit hard to gear

Individual ships are definitely critical yes. I level everything up pretty high so the impact is definitely more even for me. I love Tarkin b/c he's a good fit with my Tie Advanced, TFP and FOTP
