FO vs. Resistance

I could beat a maxed Resistance team with my maxed FO team only with luck.
That was before I got lucky and got a few extreme speed mods.
I'm running a GK(L), 2zCLS, zBarriss, zDN, zR2 team now, which is much less dependent on good RNG.

If the Resistance team has a very fast Poe, it is hard to even get a turn, if RNG is bad (bonus on expose).

With a very fast FO team, Resistance is less tricky, but still dangerous.


I appreciate my FO team, I love playing with it, but I consider a fast Resistance team superior (and I hope I can spare the resources to gear Resistance in the near future).

(This could change, though, as Phasma is the login toon for September, which could mean new FO toons are on their way, but that also applies to Resistance :))

Depends if resistance has R2. But even if not if Poe is the fastest resistance wins, unless it's ai v ai, then kinda toss up

Resistance is bad on defense, but on offense, if Poe goes first, it's all over for the enemy team.

Resistance wins the day. Unless you've put a zeta on every FO toon

First Order Cons: Very creative kits per character, but poor in survivability in holding Arena Ranks,

KyloRen'sCommandShuttle is a bit tricky to acquire,

Only leadership you can rely on is with Capt.Phasma, so its rrrreally limiting in terms of flexibility of strategies u can use. (one daze or buff immunity, FO's done for.)

Resistance Pros: viable in arena, gw, raids as long as u zeta finn. (good investment for an all around useful team)

Conclusion : "follow your heart!" my gut says go Resistance! but KyloRen just looks so cool (until Darth Revan with the mask and hoodie comes along) - and i went for FO first..

for FO to be super viable, u gotta zeta 4 characters

whereas Resistance, you only need ZFinn for them to function effectively.

Even with 4 ZETAS and maxed g11 first order is horrible.
