Vader is tough because he needs a lot.

Basically he needs POT, Speed, Offense, and CC.

Also, you also have to max all his omegas to be effective.

@CloneLoc says, "I use 4 CC and 2 POT mods. Goal of CC to 60%. Cross can go two ways. Most use Pot primary but I would put tenacity primary for arena. With EP lead he can make up POT. CC, Offense and speed secondaries as well is important. I have seen some Vaders with Offense sets that work well also"

Generally, his culling blade seems to have too long of a cool down to really make him viable.

Diving Deeper, @Grandepatron commented, "I am at a little bit of a loss on helping this guy, he has some great mods and has some of his best on Vader right now. Maybe the problem is that he is using Vader to start with. Maybe he would do better to look at a different team using Aayla, Rex, Fives or Lando and using a different Leader too, but keeping Palp on the team. Roguesaber has great characters and great mods. Maybe for his mature server, he needs to change up his team based on whom he is battling against and how they are modded. I know, myself for example, on my server I have to change leaders and my team based on who I am fighting to climb up and then change it back to a more defensive team over night. He has the mods and geared characters to do that, it would appear."
