YES I realize he took a HUGE nerf and that he used to be so much better, he's not the one shotting beast he used to be... But in the right team comp he's still one of the best dps, not standout 1v1 but in much the same way Ig-86 is meh on his own.... but paired with 88 he's killer. Let me explain, I am top 50 on pvp right now using Barris lead (mostly for hp increase, stops me gettin nuked a bit) RG and Leia to round out my tank and dps, then qui gon not only for dispel but because he gives offense to FOTP and that's all he needs to be a serious threat. It's hard to argue with a 14k crit on secondary and only 6 star gear 9.. Furthermore I've seen mid 6-7k crits on basic with double tap very frequently. Even without offense up he double taps for 8-10k a turn. Not saying he can take Rey 1 v 1 or anything just saying with good buffs and a little protection (RG) he's still a really heavy hitter. Top 3 of my toons for dmg on Rancor too.

I have to agree. FOTP is still strong. If you pair him with Phasma or FOOfficer, he's a killer. The advantage up they grant is insane. Plus the bonus attack on Phasma can wipe out a toon id they both have advantage. The FOTP is incredible strong in that aspect.

Thats kind of my point with this is that he's not the auto include solo beast in any squad that he used to be or like Rey is right now, but put him with a tank to keep him up and someone to buff him and he's a downright terror. He's a pairing toon, one who with backup makes an amazingly high damage threat. He gets a lot of praise from me for being top tier damage on rancor as well as in pvp, I use quigon and leia to give him offense up and increased crits. He's a downright monster in that lineup

40% is a powerful number. The chance of first order double attacks with Phasma.. I will tell you that when I see him he dies FIRST no exception and even if they have Rey I will target him first. Usually due to the fact that he is squishier than Rey due to her evasion. For challenges I run him with an all bonus attack team for insane damage with him. Phasma (L) aayla, quigon, kylo and him make quick work of Vader and Boba in challenges. In the boba one I ignore the droids and burn boba before he heals with that team

No, he is not great, just a shadow of what he used to be!
They left his disadvantages: slow, squishy, low tenacity ...
Changed the system with protection, that's why he doesn't double tap that often anymore ...
And nerfed his only real strength to the ground, which was his basic.
He does 2 K non-crit with his basic and 5.5 with his special
Yes, he is better in FO but why does nobody run this squad in arena?!
Yes, with offense up and crit he can get to some nice offensive output but there are plenty of chars which can have nice damage under certain buffs and leaderships.
Hell, I worked three months on him. He was meant to be valuable for arena...
There is no reason why I should prefer him instead of GS or 86

Not saying he's be all end all in dmg but he is still top tier and a lot of people just forgot him after the nerf. And ya mine is as geared as he can be without being 80 (I'm 78) and crits 12-14k on second with advantage. Which is interesting to not does NOT currently do hp down like it says. It does offense down on chance regardless of advantage
