Frustrating Drops for MV IV purple laptop

The problem is that it seems that every darn toon needs 40 of them!

Tell me about it... I'm gearing up both Dooku and Luke Skywalker, both of which use almost the exact same upgrades... I've been tempted to start spending crystals on energy refills

I know, I wish that drop rates of higher gears will be a bit more.
Or @CG_JohnSalera one suggestion:

Sell the purple gears in shipments in a higher quantity say 10 those in each cycle.
Each day there will be a different purple gear of 10 quantity each cycle of refresh.

Lol purple laptops are bad, but I think purple flashlights are worse. I think you need also a few hundred purple blowdryers between now and level 70.

Uh... unlikely. Why would they do that? It doesn't help their bottom line.

But 2 drops out of 80 energy isn't really that bad. I had one purple gear drop out of 30 attempts (240 energy in total) today, but ain't complaining. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don't.

Wow, it makes me feel better I am not the only one with a bad luck. I agree, we all are under the mercy or same RNG god. It was just a suggestion.

Those purple hair dryer things put fear into me lol. I'd like to see if any people, whales I guess have been farming them and expected drop rates, 50+ per gear I think they need, *shiver *lolol

So I am not the only one who came up with nicknames for the gear pieces to remember them.

I must say that the drop rate is poor but not as bad as yours... really strange... My proposal for you would be not to source it with all energy at once but from time to time if you understand what I mean. Let's say I am trying max two times and if nothing I leave as it is. Next try in 30 min or so. It works for me :)

Thanks, yeah sometimes I also try to see if my luck betters after sometime and if I start getting drops I keep going till it stops.

And the nicknames are funny. I also had something similar in mind when I saw them. lol
Also some nodes becomes the to-go nodes(like again that enemy), where all those popular and difficult drops are located.
