This is strictly for TW / GA defense and also for phase 2 sith heroic with Revan. To go from g10 to g12 I would need to use 2 golden eye balls, 3 stun guns and 1 MK 7 shield generator.G10 I am at 271 speed with my best non 6 dot mods. G12 without g12+ gear i can get hyoda to 300 speed and later on 312 if I decide to use the g12+ pieces Is the gear worth it to go from 271 to 300 for sith heroic phase 2 hyoda?

He's only worth g12 if you need 12 more speed from the two g12+ pieces; he's not worth any of the other g12 gear, or any other reason to take to g12.

Hyoda is bad at defense. Therefore, he's not worth investing for, if your goal with him is to defend.

You almost certainly get more bang for your buck putting that gear into a character who actually attacks or gets hit. I have minimal survivability issues in phase 2 with him at g10. In PvP defense the rng of who he chooses to put his buff on usually matters more than having the extra speed.

G10 hermit Yoda to g12? Worth it or no?

Mine is only g11, but does everything I need him to. If I boost him to g12, I'd need two Stun Guns, and then it would give him a tiny bit of speed boost (from gear level rounding), and he'd have better stats....but I haven't found it to be necessary.

I'd argue to keep it g11 at least instead of g10 because he gets +6 speed at g11

Plus 6 dot mods if one was to really push his speed, which brings the total to 19 more speed.

If you’re using a toon like HY for multiple events in the game I would say yes.

How could someone say no to faster healing/protection regain/call assists and think that isn’t worth taking him to G12?

From my experience my personal best in p2 of the sith raid was just over 9.5 million. HY is my fastest toon on my roster and I’m still missing 1 g12.5 piece that gives plus 6 speed. Having a faster Hermit Yoda allows me to remove speed mods of my grandmaster Yoda in exchange for slower damage dealing mods that allows GMY the ability to hit like a truck.

In TW/GA/SithRaid and arena Hermit Yoda works great. He might not do damage but he allows my teams to do the damage faster all while keeping them alive longer.
