Galactic Challenge - Nightsisters v/s Ewoks

I'm not sure what I'm missing here so I'm hoping someone can explain if this event is really bugged or not.

I'm going for the "Win w/o using more than 3 specials" feat.

I'm using GAS & the only special I've done is assign the turret 1-2x a fight.

Otherwise GAS & the rest of the 501st is nothing but basics.

Here's the catch.

On my acct I got credit at T10 first try.
On my friends acct it keeps not giving me credit.
So I lowered it down to the Gold Tier & bam, credit.
Raise it back up to T9/T10, no credit.

I'm not doing anything differently here, just assign the turret then basics.

Is GAS being Knocked Down &/or 5's using Sacrifice as "passives" counting as "Using a Special" ?

I've done this fight at least 6x now & only twice gotten credit & still not high enough for red crate on the 1 acct.

I have no idea what is going on that I'm not getting credit.

Please let me know if I'm missing something.
