As for ewoks yeah that's a pain the butt. Basically, you want to last longer than the jawas. Killing them with attacks isn't an option. So calling for assists is a total no no.
Defense/protection mods plus a non lead...lead is the best way to go............if you can be bothered.
It worked with my ewoks for tier 3. I can't do any harder battles or any other achievements because I don't have GAS unlocked yet. This event is such a waste. It might have been doable but still difficult if they didn't regen protection after every action taken.
