Galactic Legend 10% Health/Protection Bonus per Relic Level - Is this reflected in Stats?

Hey folks -

Every Galactic Legend has the "This unit has +10% Max Health and Max Protection per Relic Amplifier level" as part of their kit. Is this reflected in a GL's Stats, or does this get added at the beginning of a battle?

My reason for asking is I just took GL Rey from R7 to R8, and her Health went from 236,014 to 241,203 and her Protection remained unchanged at 20,186. That 5,189 Health increase and 0 Protection increase are less than 10%, which makes me think the 10% Relic Level Bonus doesn't get added permanently into stats but instead possibly appears in battles?

Appreciate any clarification anyone has to lend, and also any insight on whether % bonuses are based on base stats + mods, or just base stats only. thanks kindly for your help! : )

FYI, "base" stats is an actual term (e.g. JKL's kit) and they reflect your stats with mods and DCs applied--the number you see in the stats screen.

All (almost?) unique and lead stat boosts apply to your base stats.
  • This also means that if you attack a GL and leave them only just alive with a sliver of red health in GAC, at the beginning of your next attempt the get that much percent health and protection back at the start.
