- My opinion... don't go bonkers on gearing and leveling mediocre toons to mediocre levels.
My Rey who is level 85, g10, full 5dot mods etc is worth 30k GP.
Warrior's video showed 280k GP earned from 5/6 on a combat mission (don't forget the character GP also)...
So 5 proper toons doing one battle will be worth more than 10 of those "near" complete toons which more expensive then everyones suggests of level 43 then 50 something etc.
Now the vid I saw could have been phase 6 or something... but I think the same principles that have already applied to raids etc will still apply here. The right toons, geared and modded correctly will be worth a ton more points.
The GP from deployments is just fodder, sure it will help but if you are diverting any resources from toons that will actually battle I don't think its the best decision.
If you want to spend your credits, star up all your lightside toons sitting with shards just waiting to hit 7*. Those will be worth waaaaay more in platoons than half geared ones in deployments. "Twin;c-1237123" wrote:

So, so, sooooooo much this!
I just did my own test starring up toons from 1-7 (all non pilots, no other additions made in the interim.
A couple things -
- changes were slightly different than the post above breaking down the value and the cost per GP increase is lower for each lower star level (going from 1*-2* is a greater GP gain per credit, than going 6-7).
- 1 to 4 is the 'least expensive' increase and there is a cost jump going 4-5+ , but probably still cheaper per credit than the other means of GP increases.
- the guy who said he got 20k GP from going 6-7 is WAYYYY off. Total gain 1-7 for me was 4,355 GP increase with a cost of 431.69 credits per GP increase.
Main conclusion - it just cost me 1,880,000 stinking credits to learn for myself what I already had assumed and has always been the case; blowing credits on toons with very little use, or who I'm not going to take to g11 anytime soon is a complete waste of credits.
Only practical benefit GP adds to this game is knowing that arena competition is blowing all of their credits on something that is a complete waste.- Just took chopper from 6* to 7* and it boosted my galactic power by 20k
- Upgrade any available star level all the way to 7*. Then level all characters to 43. Then gear up all characters to partway in G6 (or until gear runs out). Then level all characters to 53. Then gear up all characters to partway in G7 (or until gear runs out). Then level 5-dot mods to 12 for all characters. Then level all characters to 85. Then level all mods to 15.
That's pretty much the easy route to the most efficient use of credits. Not necessarily the best route for everything else in the game, mind you. "Pyrefly;c-1231567" wrote:

What's the GP gain/Credit for each phase you recommend?

The pauses to gear don't have a specific cost, but those are generally where new tiers of gear are unlocked, and those tiers have huge payoffs in power.
Otherwise, in terms of credits per power:- Stars 1-7: 404 c/p
- Character levels 1-43: 869 c/p
- Unlock G6 gear; big power gain.
- Character levels 44-53: 2521 c/p
- Unlock G7 gear; big power gain.
- 5-Dot mods level 1-12: 1442 c/p
- Character levels 54-85: 3566 c/p
- 5-Dot mods level 13-15: 5037 c/p
Technically, the c/p for leveling up mods is better than leveling the characters once you unlock mods at level 50, but you can gain such a huge boost in power from being able to finish G6 and unlock G7 at around level 53, it's more worth it to stop there and gear before doing mods.- Stars 1-7: 404 c/p

Where did this info come from?- Stars 1-7: 404 c/p

From a spreadsheet I made looking for exactly this information?- Is some content locked behind size of your ep... gp that is? I wonder how efficiency per credit matters if lvl 43 toons will be as efficient as lvl 1s in level cap fights.
- All TB is locked behind the size of your GP.
