Ok here is the math to 7 star grievous...its 6,750 currency for 30 shards and 330 shards to 7 star him, so 330 shards divided by 30 = 11... now take 6,750 currency and multiply it by 11....6,750 x 11 = 74,250 currency...now if you get 15 currency per character shard we take that 74,250 currency and divide it by 15 and we get a whopping 4,950 character shards to 7 star grievous!!!
In short: Not worth the effort.
