A lot of people say on focus on R2 first, I tried this and it did not work for me.
I would keep trying your attack on different characters, and also try it on auto a few times, if the AI manages to knock out a few toons you can jump in to finish.
For what it's worth I used almost the same team as you except with Death Trooper gear 11 instead of TFP. The rest were g9 except RG g7.
