I mean, I won't dispute that Rey seems more powerful overall, but most of these are oversimplifying:

Yes, Rey has a higher max speed, but Kylo will have much more TM gain on his team.

Yes, TM gain has a drawback, but the goal seems to be to get Kylo into his rage state and just squash the entire enemy team by himself, so said drawback shouldn't matter much as long as you can get him there.

Yes, Rey "has no cooldowns" but her special abilities have conditions that must be met to use them, which you can avoid letting her fulfill.

Yes, there are like, two videos of one guy playing Kylo really badly and with no ultimate unlocked, and losing to GAS. That doesn't mean "Kylo can't beat GAS." It just means that guy can't do it, at least not without the ultimate.

Rey also has a requirement that wasn't farmable until this week.

I don't think the videos that are circulating have Kylo with his ultimate unlocked, so yes is to early to judge, we should wait until they are maxed out to assess...

Right now Kylo is weaker version of Padme, way weaker. I'm so **** on it as a person, who needs several days to meet all requirements to unlock him. Right now it is not even worth to try take a part on this event.
Only option is screw it all, and go for Rey.

Rey has 398 speed, kylo has 393 (both at G13) .so with the same mods Rey would be 5+ her 30 from leadership ahead of kylo ,35 not 120.

Too early to say for sure, without the ultimate ability, but indications are that FO will remain the lesser faction to Resistance.

Pre GL, all FO were easy farm toons, with slightly aging kits (sith trooper and Hux excepted)... resistance meanwhile had 4 event unlock toons and could walk over FO and leave a better b-team in reserve than FO could pull together.

Rey is harder to unlock than SLK, but looks like runs over every team. SLK going to need ultimate to beat GAS (or so it looks)...but then Rey will get her ultimate too....so the pattern of FO being good until you get Resistance seems to continue

Did you read the part where I said same mods .
10% of 398 and 393 is 39.8 and 39.3 .
Like I said before it's more like 35 more speed than 120
