Glitch?

I can’t figure out a legit mechanic behind this but wondering if anyone else has experienced it. Fighting against Thrawn lead with palp Vader RG and piett. Beat them down in succession with RG last, when I kill him he revives full health protection and buffs…after killing him the 2nd time he doesn’t revive again. Never seen it before but has happened to me twice against the same opponent.

    There's a datacron that allows for a respawn, not sure on who it applies though

    With my team I have to really cherry pick my battles, if there’s a datacron I read it. It’s possible I missed it once but really unlikely I missed it twice. Anyway, I won both times so it didn’t affect anything. I was just curious.
