The matchmaking is ridiculous. Players with high squads farm rhe rewards against players that stand no chance at winning. Before y'all say anything about inactive players keep rhat to yourself. The players are still active and walking all over us players that don't stand a chance and we are just letting EA get away with it. We need to come together and fight EA against this broken system. Or just take care of these farmers ourselves. EA can not do anything against us players due to them breaking the user agreement first by allowing an unfair game. Us as players should have the right for a fair game so lets do something about it.

Suggesting people would deliberately and repeatedly lose in GAC for a competitive advantage doesn’t stand up. The sliding scale of rewards, both daily and from winning rounds, means any player doing that deliberately is earning fewer crystals than if they fought competitively at “their level”.

You should share your ally code - you claim you’ve played dozens of cheaters. Let the community help you out them.

I believe you're confusing Squad Arena and Grand Arena Championship.Squad Arena is as you described. When you start the game, 'a shard' is made of players that started at a similar time as you, and this is who you play.Grand Arena Championship is a ladder system with promotions and demotions. You play the nearest 7 people to you on the ladder, no matter the size of their rosters.This last bit is 'sort of' what the OP is complaining about..................I guess, but it's not that easy to follow nor is it at all constructive. A well thought out topic sentence, idea to fix the issue/issues (that's also unclear) and a conclusion would have helped the OP's post greatly.

What a difference a day makes. For the last 2 days I went up against teams with 3 and 4 times my gp. My opponent tomorrow is 2.8 and I'm 2.7. it's going to be great having a competitive match again instead of just being farmed

What it shows is when they decide to play gac their opponents have no chance. You know what all these gac matchmaking threads are about. the 3rd on my shard arena consist of r10 supreme leader kylo r10 regular kylo a r10 vader and 2 r9 first order toons. Who in any carbonate 2 has any chance against that? Who would even try
And if they had no interest in gac they would be in carbonate 5

No, what is shows is that they care and are very good at Squad Arena. Squad Arena is 1 team. I'm also unsure what the relevance is to you. You should be in a fairly similar position to your shard mates as you started the game at a similar time.

To a degree. A large discrepancy in GP. However, again you're totally ignoring anything I have written. GP discrepancies in GAC aren't all the situation. Some are due to large accounts falling and some are due to small accounts climbing. These are not the same things. Also, a lot of these threads, the OP isn't clear, constructive or fully understands what they are suggesting.

Again, you're forcing me to repeat this and causing a circular argument that I have no interest. I'm not going to continually repeat my points that you have no interest or unable to refute. If nobody in Carbonite 2 stands a chance against that roster, then that roster wins 100% of their games and is no longer in Carbonite. It's very simple. To be in Carbonite 2 they must have lost more than half of their games and losing around half their games to stay in Carbonite. So, 50% of the players playing that roster (if they're camped in Carbonite 2) are beating that roster.
I'm kind of done answering you tbh. You just reiterate your points without refuting what I have said.

I’m actually starting to think I prefer fankit threads to GAC matchmaking complaint threads. At least the fankit threads say different things, rather than the same tired arguments ad infinitum.

Well I got farmed and tomorrow match the guy has 3 times the gp and I'm not even going to try. Just going to do what these people are doing and let my rank drop

I swear I'm starting to think cg tries to drive people from their game. First conquest became un playable for me. Next after two weeks straight getting in the top 250 I can barely get 10% and now I'm being farmed by much higher teams in gac. Never been more frustrated by a game in my life.
Edit- farmed for the second day in a row. The only good thing about this gac is it's over. Maybe if I'm lucky I will drop in rank. I threw 3 teams at 1 of his d and could only kill 2. Found out the hard way never leave a r8 wampa on its own. Ouch that hurt. Felt like conquest again only doing a few thousand per attack against his 100k to 200k

Grand Arena matchmaking needs to be improved.
Right now, many matchups are not competitive because the players are simply not equal in power. Large GP gaps, Galactic Legends, relic depth, and fleet strength often decide the outcome before the first battle even starts.
Skill should matter, but it can only matter when both players have comparable tools. When the power difference is extreme, the match is no longer fair or competitive — it’s predetermined.
CG should adjust the matchmaking to reduce these extreme mismatches and make Grand Arena feel fair at all levels of progression.
