They should lock in once the join period ends. So once you are able to set def, everything is supposed to be locked.

So it's not during the set defense phase? Its before!?

It should be as soon as you hit join. Not sure though.

That would be dumb. I mean "set up phase" should be when you "set up your units"

It is the same as TW , once the join phase ends, your roster is locked in. The set def phase, is where you set your def squads, Not where you move mods around .
