GW Character to unlock next

Gotta start somewhere. I just unlocked Scavenger (2*) and Nebit (3*) and immediately beat the first tier challenge with Jawa, Dathcha, and Nebit, haven't tried the second yet. They are both easy to unlock, it doesn't take long to get a 4 jawa squad, obviously longer to 7*.

Cad Bane is just so bad. Mine is 7*VII L53, it's just so hard to put more resources into him. I would do it if I thought he would actually help me beat the highest Credit Heist tier, but I have no faith that spending on him will turn a profit.

I saw an anti-meta team video on here a couple of months ago with Cad Bane lead. Like other "terrible" characters, you don't really know what they are until you have them properly geared. If you are comparing him to a G9/G10/G11 Lando or STH, yeah, he's gonna suck at G7 or even G8. Kinda like Rebels, scoundrels are stacked in Arena while there's only one in GW.

I've crushed him quite easily in opposing Arena teams as well. Sure, he gets better at max gear, but you can only polish a terd so much.
