Hera Specials - AI ally targetting

I'm wondering whether anyone has done testing as to how Hera uses her specials under AI control? Does she target the healthiest ally each time?
  • The issue is the only way to test that is fighting her, as auto focuses on whoever youre aiming at, and it's a bit soon to see her.

You can remove focus by selecting the toon that is selected and the ai should target on its own.
  • Did some testing and from what I can tell,

Play to strengths AI seems to pick a random ally for the assist. I would have preferred this one to pick a criteria rather than random. This is a powerful tool on defense if it had some consistency. Unfortunately not so.

Backup plan seems to be a heal tag type ability and is not used until an ally is below 50% health. Mixed reactions here. Against bursty teams this may not be the best criteria. Anyone who has used Barriss on defense knows that the ai using her heal at such a low threshold is often too late. Having her use it early on a tank that can maintain taunt seems like ideal use of this ability, at least under ai control.
  • Well.. in difficult fights where actual oneshot combos, high damage and such exist.. you shouldn't use Autoplay anyways. In normal fights the Heal tag helps to keep a nearly dead toon alive under AI.

I'm talking about defense actually. So it is always AI controlled. Its not hard to win matches with reasonable mods on offense and what will be a meta decider is how well teams and characters that comprise these teams perform on defense under the AI.

This actually isn't possible since QoL update. I can't understand why it hasn't been given much attention tbh.

    This definitely still works.
