I stayed away from Arena for a long while, making GW a breeze for me. It has become harder recently, but I still have completed it for well over two months now.
IG-86 is amazing.
GS is amazing.
QGJ is amazing.
Lumi is easy to get and helps greatly.
JC is also easy to get and helps greatly.
I can clear most stuff with just the above team. Lumi is my lead, for auto heals to top off health. I trade JC for a Phasma if I get a pesky Sid who avoids my jedis too much.
Ahsoka is good too, as she can do a minor heal on others and basically self-heals herself unless the AI is trying to destroy her. In short, she does good damage and self-heals/team heals.
I did not go for Daka just yet because I am getting QGJ to 7* and Ahsoka to 7* (because she is useful on her own and because I need another Jedi to do the Yoda challenge). Will be getting Daka soon.
I don't have a super deep bench, but I do have Darth Vader and Sid on backup. Sid procs a double DoT sometimes and Vader adds a bunch of DoTs and I use Vader's 3rd attack on whomever has the most DoTs for a near instakill(3rd attack does bonus damage for each negative effect on an opponent). Even a four star Vader with decent gear can pack a whallop and take a decent beating.
