How to beat Palp/Vador/taunt as Nightsisters

I know the NS haters love this but I don't. I wasted 4 zetas on my NS team. My slowest one being a speed of 224. Even scrub palp teams destroy NS. I thought this meta would be a rock/paper/scissors type of arena but it's not...it's gonna be rock/paper with the 2 teams of Rey vs Palp.

Oh yeah OP...I had to switch to Palp in order to stay competitive so I don't have a reliable NS strategy to beat Palp using NS.

You don't.

Kinda like asking how to beat Imperial Troopers with NS. It's just kinda... not a thing that happens.

I thought the meta was rock/paper/scissor too, but it's not. Especially if you finish in the top 5 everyday.

The 3 teams are Rey/NS/Palp as long as there are Rey teams which are dying out on my server I might add means that NS can still be relevant. But what happens when those Rey users switch to Palp? And what happens when NS teams like mine also switch to Palp like I have? NS will fade away and they already are starting to. Just in the last 2 weeks 3 people on my server including myself has switch to Palp. Long as more people switch to Palp then the meta will be just paper/rock no scissors.

Since Palp can easily beat NS now they aren't worth running because even a scrub Palp team can beat NS even if they had 4 zetas like mine did meaning that they don't hold defensively anymore because of how many Palp teams that have risen up within the past 2 weeks.

NS can beat Palp but if there are only 2 NS teams in the top 20 and 15 Palp teams in the top 20 who you think those Palp teams will target?

Meta is changing again...and NightSisters are fading super fast. Maybe not in the top 200 but in the top 10.

Rock and paper is the meta...no scissors.

Arena is not all. NS are still good against other teams. And also good in TW/TB. I spent 3 zetas (4th coming soon) on FOs and don't regret it since I like their gameplay. It's a full faction team for TB/TW for me since they're also not good enough for Arena.

NS is good against other teams but how many other teams are in the top 10? 1 or 2 Reys and 8 Palps...so much for continuing to run NS. Yes NS are good for other aspects of this game but let's be honest here...for the majority of competitive people on this game...it's all about arena and being in the top 10. I know I sound bitter and maybe I am because I used 4 zetas on NS and a single rework of 2 old toons made my teams useless in arena. That's why I figured I'd just swap my best mods from NS and add them to Empire. Thankfully I hoard enough gear and zetas to do that but not everyone can do the same.

I'm sure another rework of older or newer toons will come out and dominate Palp since it's an online game and changes are always being made.

People are always gonna run the best team that gets them the best payout reward. Just when you think diversity in arena is possible...it's not. A single meta team and best mods will always be the meta.

That could turn out to be true generally, but my arena already had almost zero CLS teams in the top 50 after Rey took over, and now EP is replacing those at a fast pace.

Yeah you right EP is replacing those at a super fast pace. Makes sense I guess..more folks have EP unlocked than CLS or Rey for that matter. I checked the meta report today for the first time in months..EP is more used. Looks like Rey dropped some...and NS dropped huge.

I wouldn't be surprised if EP will be the single best used team by months end.

So much for diversity if that's what the devs were trying to accomplish.

Spend some more money on NS spirit.
She is very fast, amd her opening stun dispels taunt

The problem isn't the taunt, it's the health recovery. NS teams depend on plague as the main damage source, and EP teams recover a lot of health all the time, cancelling plague.
The Empire is almost the direct counter to NS. Your best option is to switch teams. That being said, Ventress lead should with a bit better, since you could make sure the take a lot less turns. You'd still get wrecked on defense, but you should have an offensive chance.

I think that the taunt is the problem because my goal is to stun Palp with either Asajj or Daka (or Talzin special). A palp stuned for few turns is freewin for NS. The problem is with the taunter you can’t stun Palp with Asajj or Daka basics. That’s why I used B2 to dispel taunts are stun Palp, but I don’t think B2 is good on defense.

Offensively, you might find a team that works, but you'll fall very fast on defense. If the only strategy you can find relys on intelligent decision making and RNG, you can't expect the AI to keep up.

I run EP lead and the only nightsister team I have lost to is one I didn't kill fast enough so all the damage from assist attacks ended up killing me so maybe focus on a more damaged based team with good survivability.
