RG just isn't getting the love he once did. If you want a tank, Shoretrooper seems to be the go-to on the empire.... myself, I haven't been able to bring myself to do the super slow Shoretrooper grind. Tarkin really works well with EP's leader ability, as does TFP. If they're fast enough with mods, you can keep enough TM flowing to limit getting hit. No tank needed.
