Fast Vader goes first and more often. That simple. If you are facing ZPalp with Sion/Nihilus, Vader is also usually there. If enemy Vader is faster, you still go after Nihilus. If you boost your Palp speed enough, there is RNG chance you can go before Nihilus. TFP in the squad can also go before Nihilus. If Sion is the only tank, you can put TFP’s ability block on Nihilus to avoid Force Drain. You have options, but you need your Vader to go first. So... speed.
