How's cassian for a first chromium pull?

If he plans on going phoenix I'm a believer in lando as the ultimate pull (scoundrel head start). I know he is an easy farm but your goal is to put minimum effort into scoundrels to clear credit heists while putting maximum effort into phoenix to do well in arena.

no my lando is still 4* and i never use him. boba has a ship so if you really need someone for heist it's boba. he can solo it at g9, unique lvl 7, which is achievable by the time last two tiers of heist is unlocked

and lando is not that op in arena. the only thing i ever remotely feared about him was not his aoe but the +15 speed boost from his lead for boba. there was a time when many matches were decided by whose boba goes first, and if that first aoe from boba sticks ability block on opposing boba. pre lv 70 i guess. but that can be covered by having better mods. I just used boba lead for more dps.

Cassian is a good toon. He can be used in Rancor when you don't have CLS, zVader, Thrawn in a Teebo led team. He's very useful in TB (I don't have long farm Baze and run Jyn, Cassian, K2, Scarif, Bodhi).
He's got a buff immunity on his basic too, can make some good damages too on his special.

Cassian is a great pull if he unlocked at 4*. He's not the best pull, but he's effective in TW, TB, Ships, and EP event. He'd probably fair well in early Arena (not later levels) as well since he's one of the few that can debuff all of your opponent's toons.

Gearing him up will NOT be a waste since his ship's power is based off his gear level and he has a fairly effective ship. Also, Rogue 1 is great in TW/TB.

Once your friend unlocks Galactic War, I'd recommend farming K2 first, then Zeb, then Biggs.

I'm with you - new players still hitting walls - with Lando he can help pull any team through the credit heists rapidly - keeping you in credits for leveling and mods. IDK if you can get STHan - but he might be as good or better.
My kid pulled Wedge when he started and I was like "Go, boy, go, you got the moxy!"

I'd say that's a pretty solid pull. He has great synergy with K2S0 whose shards are in the easiest area to farm from. He's best in a full R1 team (with Jyn, Chirrut, and Baze), but Baze isn't farmable until much later in game, and Jyn takes a while as well. I use him and K2S0 with Wiggs and a rotating 5th and he's been great.

I pulled Jawa..... he’s now sitting at 5 star I thought everyone always got jawa

I got jawa too. The worst. Wish I'd known more about the game back then.
