I think it's time to start merging shards and change payouts.

Yeah, you can refresh, but it's not worth it after a while. Sure, you can buy 3 refreshes and attack 20 times, but then you've already spent 150 crystals. If you spend that much and end up 3rd you net the same payout as getting 50th.
