Because some of us have tried to join shard chats and been shut out. I could care less about collusion though. I like the challenge. I'm not a whale or in a chat so it's fun when I manage too bust into top 20.
This is exactly what I go through as well. After reaching out to my shard chat was essentially told "we don't need any more at your payout time, we're good" which leaves me battling the collusion of 5-6 players since they feel entitled to "their" payouts.
In the past I had been fine just collecting top 20 payouts but now it's pissing me off enough to bust up their collusion pool a few times a week to keep them on their toes and mess with their rotation.
