You get a lot more players quitting when there are large disruptions to the game than keeping status quo and that would be a huge one. Many of the old shards don't even "collude" necessarily in a way that's punitive to other players, they just share payout slots and actually cooperate to not fight each other. What's wrong with 3-5 people that are in a certain payout agreeing to rotate slots with each other rather than slit their own throats?
If you really want to end collusion...than don't collude! :) Invite that player in to the shard rotation.
One of the most annoying ones is there is a person aware of our shard chat that we have talked to that claims he can't join. He shares a payout with us which is the busiest one by far. He complains that he is on our "hit list" which doesn't really exist in any meaningful capacity. His team is simply bad. Under powered typical triple cleanse missing a ton of stars. He falls back to like 10th during payout and blames us, I don't even fall that far back lol to where I could hit him from there. It the other randoms and refresh hero's that hit them at payout since he can't be on. Sorry dude it sucks that you can't be on at payout but maybe if you finished your toons we could help you keep rank at payout. Instead you just blame us for your failing squad.
