The new Feb login rewards will give shards for this character. He works well in droid teams, but will he work in a more 'normal' team? I could see him used with Sid as leader for crit synergy together...

GS is indeed better in a generic team. However, he is a good cheap option for assist teams. QGJ, IG86, Geonosian Soldier make for a solid damage if you lack the top end toons like FOTP or Rey
