A year away, I wouldn't recommend either.

That's a fairly reasonable base. I'd suggest keeping it unless you're the climb to the top sort. You'll be at a disadvantage in arena for a good long while, but that's not as big a deal as people make it out to be.

I'd suggest starting work on the Old Republic content.

Step 1, ignore the first response.

Step 2, I'd create and run an alt account in addition to your existing until you know which you want to continue.

This really depends on your level of competitiveness and what you're looking for out of the game.

Geonosians for Padme is not an unreasonable route, either. She can stand up to either Revan. I'd suggest working on your Anakin and Ahsoka as well for that squad.

The fifth slot on a Padme team is negotiable. 3PO is the most common, but would require Ewoks. R2 is okay. Since the clones rework, Rex or Fives should work well. zBarriss as a fifth works well against Jedi Revan teams, but as you don't have her at present I wouldn't really advise pursuing her actively. And Yoda is ever popular for his combination of support and damage output.

Let me add, look at who is in the top of your fleet arena shard. Emulate them, work your ships, get Bossk and your bounty hunters up to speed so you can participate in the almost non existent credit heist. fleet arena is usually easier to climb than squad and is worth doing for the crystal income.

Keep your account. I took a year off but after getting revan I'm able to hover in the 200s, a tiny higher on a good day, but I'm fine with that rank. Good base and I agree you should go Geo's. From what I've heard they're easy to farm and gear and they make a great ga defense. Plus they'll get you padme. I'd say get Geo's and GR rolling, then get Revan and then polish off CLS's team.

Watching YouTube videos though, the meta is likely to shift isn’t it? Something to do with the 501st perhaps so that’s another option right?

Yeah I was really thinking about running a 2nd but thought to myself it would take far too long to get to where I am now, maybe I’m wrong though?
