is g8 B2 arena viable?

I'm using mine in a shard vs Gear X and XI toons. His useable.

He is viable, but get him to gear 9-11 as soon as possible. He will die much sooner at 8, but he will still function.

I finish constantly in top 10 using him at g8, usually facing g10 and g11 toons. I only have 2 g10,1 g9 and 2 g8 toons, but I do have pretty good mods.
