Is Iden versio going to be nerf?

I'm worried about building Iden and Dash teams right now on the basis that they will get nerfed

A simple solution for all of this would be if CG agreed that any nerf that happens 30 or 60 days after a characters release will result in a refund of mats. Anything before the 30/60 days and the player assumes the risk for trying out a new character and gets no refund.
So easy it will never happen.

The problem isn't just the new character that gets nerfed. It's the supporting cast that you have to gear as well... They're not likely to refund the magmatrooper gear if they nerf Versio.

What is it with Dash and Iden that you think would lead to a nerf? I'm missing what interactions might lead to a nerf. I haven't had many issues with either of those teams with any GLs let alone other top teams (like Gas, DR, etc).

That's what I mean about building a team around a new character in the first 30 days. You run the risk of that investment changing but you also enjoy a little bonus over others that wait. After 30 days that risk should be on CG not the player.

Exactly.

For a Dash team I'd relic up Dash, Nest, L3 and Vandor Chewie.

For a Versio team I'd relic up Versio, Death, Magma and Shore.

I could potentially still get value out of Dash and Versio if nerfed as I could get Starkiller.

However, then I'd have another 6 toons that might then have little use with the relic investment better spent elsewhere.

This is the problem with not doing enough internal testing and subsequently nerfing once people see potential uses for toons.

This is a game of scarce resources, so when you spend money to acquire resources like Omicrons and relic material to use on a QGJ, Boba, Dash or Versio you want to know that it is a good investment.

Is there any actual basis for these nerf speculations or is this just standard "some dingdong on Reddit said something and I took it as gospel" fearmongering?

No, mainly looking at what has happened to toons getting nerfed recently (e.g. QGJ after spruiking the omicron)

She can beat GAS and makes Troopers vs LV more reliable because they don't need Shaak Ti anymore.
