Is Nute any good now?

Title says it all, is Nute worth leveling up now? Obviously it isn't a Meta, but for GA and TW?

Corollary: is he best used as a lead or just a team member? His lead sounds good but I have concerns that he wouldn't be able to keep enough Extortions out for it to really work well.
