Is resistance trooper mandatory for an resistance team?

So yeah I farmed resistance pilot instead of trooper thinking that my team would be well with pilot aswell. But I see now teams having trooper as mandatory,do you think this is true for the event t...

I play resistance in arena so... I know

Poe taunts and RT gains 100%TM then he tries expose or dispels taunt;
ofc R2 is obligatory for arena but I am saying that those 3 are needed everywhere
