So I started farming jawas for the raid and I have all of them at 7 star around gear 9. Except the engineer who I'm guessing could be key?I was expecting big things for the raid.... but in opinion they're useless slow and squishy. Especially against the slowest tank in history.

Jawas are kings in p3. And yes, engineer is really kinda required. the only thing Jawas don't have is a debuff remover (ala Lobot, AA, etc.). I know some people are using Ewok Elder in place of Scavenger, but I love that scrappy little guy!!!

My Jawas are my second best faction in the AAT raid. And that's after the droids who use Jawas. They are right there with the Rebels.

Dathcha lead.JE is a must.Sub B2 for Jawa.B2 can interrupt tank salvos (relentless barrage + Dathcha lead), while JE provides speed boost, healing (+B2 rez), and bombs.JS supplies nearly all of the damage through his thermal detonators, do not let him die.And don't forget mods. Tenacity, health, and defense can help the little hooded ones survive the DoTs and top cannon one shotting. Mod B2 for potency since he doesn't get the potency boost and can be rezzed.

do we have to detonate the bombs w/ JS special ability? do they do same amount of damage if they just blow up on their own and save a turn for regular attack w/ JS instead?

seems like if it is the same damage, using the special is a waste of a turn unless boss is close to killing eveybody off, in which case the bombs dont go off and dont count

They do same amount of damage plus you can apply effects for blowing up bombs
