JKR's Savior Ability

Quick question for the smart folks: How is Revan's Savior ability supposed to work?

The text reads: "The first time another Jedi ally would be reduced to 1% Health, if Jedi Knight Revan is active, they recover 100% of their Max Health and Protection," etc.

It's worded oddly. Does this mean that Jedi (including JKR when in the leader slot) recover 100% Max Health and Protection only when they're reduced to EXACTLY 1% Health?

For example: If a Jedi is dealt lethal damage ("lethal" = damage that would reduce the unit to 0% Health) do they die, or do they trigger Savior?
  • Nope, it just stops the damage that would reduce health at less than 1% then put your character back to 100% prot +health.
Edit : for the example : the "lethal" part is removed, and your character is back to full health/prot.
Edit 2 : i think you might want to watch a short video of revan :)

When a character is supposed to die from an attack or is reduced to 1 health from abilities like Palpatins unique, that character get "Saved" and gains 100% health and protection.

They trigger Savior. The exception tho is weird mechanics like Nihilus annihilate.

    simple answer
as long as they are not isolated if damage would kill them savior saves them

    annhilate does no damage
  • I’ve noticed this is actually a really nice mechanic being set to 1% instead of just a revive mechanic.

Since Traya Lead does damage on out of turn attacks, I’ve had battles where the Savior skill is wasted on an assist call before I get the chance to do that damage.
  • Half of this effect can be prevented with healing immunity.
If the target has healing immunity when they would die, they don't die but are reduced to 1 health.

The exception being IG-88's Target lock zeta, which doesn't for some reason. (bugged likely)

They stated that savior cleanses before giving all the buffs and recovery, so that won't work. Unless JTR heal immunity or plague was applied

Edit: forget plague, it will be cleansed when they recover 100% health

Well if they have hi and plague they won't be able to cleanse the hi because of plague and won't be able to heal because of the hi so won't cleanse plague

But what arena-viable squad has both plague and healing immunity?
