You have to take at least one jedi ally to be able to use the inherited teachings ability. Hoda is great for that, as he won't kill steal.
Then you need to get JML to take the hits. So either Wat to give him tank tech, or the voluntary vanguard data disk.
Put in the toon you need the kills from. If there is room for another jedi, use one you have that can either call assists or has abilities that don't do damage, to avoid the kill steal.
The inherited teachings ability does damage based on JML's max protection, and you can call a light side ally with it. It does a lot of damage if you mod JML for all protection.
The toon also does it's own instance of damage so the volatile accelerator and amplify agony combo can work well with this too.
