Do the leftover First Order members have any use in GAC after getting the main squad together?
Well I'm you're not high kyber, so sure they'll have their uses. Any relic squad will be of great use outside of Kyber 1 or 2.
I’m just wondering if I should bother with putting time into the sub squad other than the relic reqs.
Yeah, I wouldn't put any more resources into them, once they've reached the SLKR requirement.
Also should I just throw masked Kylo with them?
Case by case. Having 10 reliced FO, gives you some variety. However, I think you may get most use out of him with the solos or just him and a leader.
As said above, you can also omicron phasma, which gives you better team for TW.
