A lot of good advice already but the best suggestions I have are
1) avoid factions if you can when your roster isn’t develope. Faction characters often want exactly the same gear as each other and will make you stall.. I know I’ve done FO, resistance and Phoenix factions as units.
2) don’t chase whatever the current meta is, you can’t unless you spend big. Instead farm groups of toons you enjoy and may one day become
Meta. You need luck but you need to catch the meta after next to cash in. That’s why most vet players farmed FO and resistance reading for new ep 8 characters.
