Wow I've been playing for about a year, and had to learn a lot of this stuff the hard way! Every post is gold! Find whatever advantages you can, if you can make the 40s on fleet, push to make the top 20 on payout you'll get some crystals...crystals can buy you full mk3 holo (300 in shipments). Like everyone is saying, synergies especially across different parts of the cantina are the best way to optimize. If you're going all in on phoenix, gear those mofos up so their ships perform better, and youtube some vids on how to use them for GW and Raids (think they're best for aat/Haat). You might need a different arena team, I was able to ride Wiggs into the top 200 consistently before I started getting better characters. For ships, if you lean on Biggs, get some ships that can target lock (Boba, Fives, Vader) since Biggs will gain protection and the taunt. It took me about a year to feel like I got the hang of this game, and I still suck!
