Leveling Up Question

If you're asking whether it matters if you gear or star them first, it does not. Assuming no mods or the same mods, every g10 7* lvl85 Ugnaught with the same ability levels will have the same stats.

That being said, there's no real need to gear, level, etc., a character if its star level is too low for it to be useful to you or eligible for a raid you do. It would just add to your overall GP while giving you nothing and possibly going to waste should you shift directions later.

google swgoh pillars for a good starting guide. you should definitely be levelling the characters you want/are using as you star them up, but again it would depend on which characters you mean in order to know if you are doing it right. gl

When you promote (star up) a character, their stats retroactively increase to account for the increased growth rates. It doesn't matter in what order you promote, level, or gear them. No need to wait to level up until they've starred up.
