Light side Hard 8A impossible?

I'm F2P. Completed it 3* no problem with this:

Sadly my light side roster isn't as good as yours is. My A team is pretty much all dark.

Certainly felt that way the first time I attempted it. If your heavy Jedi then your gonna get demolished no matter which way you look at it. I borrowed a buddy's maxed leia, Ben leader 7*G9, Rey 6*G8, QGJ 7*G8 Han 6* G8, and Lumi 7*G8. This team got me thru next time i try with 1 star. I smashed the first two tiers swiftly with help from RNG and dodge #teamdodge! #teamevasion and when I reached that big bad a** Maul I laid into him right away. No way your gonna win if you try taking those Droid out before hand. Got lucky with RNG again cause maul targets Ben I third round and I actually bust him up real nice. The Droids almost killed me off in the end and I only had 1 standing at the end. It was leia. #jabbahitthat

Yeah, I know you meant 8A hard. Of course you can't beat it with a super Jedi heavy squad, and you also can't beat it without 7* characters. It's not going to be possible with the characters you have. You'll just have to start building up that light side roster.

I came close with this roster...Maul is a beast.

It's not impossible, you just can't do it with Jedi. Maul crushes Jedi. I did it with my Rebel squad. Ackbar, Luke, Biggs, St Han, and (non-Rebel) Lumi.

I finished it with: Barriss (L), QGJ, Lumi, Rey, Yoda and borrowed Leia (G9 or G10). Was down to wire who hits faster and more frequently but I ended up on the right side.

Maul is easy compared to dooku in the final node. I used 4 Jedi and 2 others to beat it. One of my Jedi (barriss) is only 4*
