Im several people that run a wiggs on my shard, and i'm one of several people that loose 1-5 spots. there are plenty of counters.
i dont run a cheesy sthan ... every body else is in a speed race to get sthan quicker than the others, he goes, and the other team gets 4 turns in a row. lalmost every other team in top 15 has a speedy stHan. why is nobody complaining about that? b/c he is always ftp and everybody has access to him. well, now everybody has access to biggs.
people complain (and i appreciate he op stating he is not asking for a nerf, but many in the above discussion are asking for a nerf), then when they release a dubious character that is hard to use in arena (Gspy, dengar, scarif, sam, etc), others complain that the meta is too boring and no "good characters" are released
I also paid for sun fac. I love him, he still gets beat. I run a maxed squad of wiggs, lando, sun fac and either jka/RG. I dont hold #1 and there is only 1 other wiggs team out there.
Rex leads will beat me. If another team has sthan, EP, JKA, then unless I play carefully, I may loose on offense and I loose all the time on defense. all three of the characters are available and easy to obtain (EP maybe harder for some if they missed the boat). Raid han also is showing up and is a counter
the issue is not wiggs. the issue is speed mods w/ secondary. more than a race for wiggs on my december shard is a race for the fastest stHan
having said that, i would love longer matches, but I'm not interested in nerfs (again, I acknowledge the op opinion) when people have spent time and resources. meta changes, right now it happens to be speed again. this is still more variety on leads and teams than when it was poe/droid/evasion/rey or leia meta
