Both this dev post and the last one mentioning this issue are quite vaguely worded and not very clear about it. LV's leadership ability doesn't actually mention a "target ally" with regards to crit immunity (it doesn't even technicaly grant Critical Hit Immunity , which makes it odd why the devs are now phrasing it as if it does).
The only thing I can speculate that makes any sense is that the 'when under 80% your Empire/DSUFU can't be crit" clause has been incorrectly triggering to affect the whole team once a single toon was brought below that 80% threshold. Is that the case? (if so, then this is legitimate bug fix and nobody should be upset about it) If not, then what's happening?
People are upset because the guy who already is considered severely underwhelming apparently is supposed to be (and now correctly is) far weaker than before both on offense and especially on defense. Him having a bug that made him better all this time just makes his poor performance all the more embarrasing, and the reveal that hes even worse than people thought all the more insulting.
