Low gear iden versio + stormtrooper zeta

What do you guys thinks If I give the zeta to stormtrooper does his offense gonna stack when my iden gets revived a few times or not? She technically dies so I think stormtrooper's offense should stack

For example assaj and old dakka clearly say that they get a bonus when someone gets defeated.

Stormtrooper says "for each living... and for each defeated" which could mean that it does a check at the point of taking damage or doing damage. There are 3 alive, 2 dead, so 120% defence, 80% offence. Or it might count each death. Anyone tested this?

Nobody has put that zeta on since back when we used thrawn double tank to beat CLS meta. Even then it wasn't needed.
  • It's a pretty useful zeta in a LV squad, but not required of course. If you run the Imperial Remnant team with Gideon lead (no one does but they should, it's quite good) then it's really, really useful
  • Who are you going to use them against? That team will take down MM easy. Seems kind of like a waste of a zeta.

  • I just thought maybe someone jumped on when they added that extra remnant stuff to the zeta. Maybe not.

It's a fair question. The original zeta was pretty worthless. Ramping offense for a tank as allies die? The whole point of a taunting tank is to keep allies alive.

The added part with 20% prot sounds good, and honestly isn't bad. But they sometimes throw in a catch on these. For this one, it's the fact that as a taunting tank, you generally want him slow to keep taunt up, which means you'll get that prot much less. If you were to speed him up, you're losing that taunt time, and probably sacrificing durability with the faster mods.

So, it doesn't completely suck, but it's not as good as it might sound.
