Manipulating Turn Meter

Does it make sense to have a squad consisting of Admiral Ackbar, ST-Han, and Phasma along with some high DPS (namely QGJ and Rey)? I curently run a Phasma lead with Lumi, 5's, GS, and Rey. I am looking to try and start using turn meter manipulation to my advantage, any thoughts?
