I think he is mostly asking if Leader abilities and stuff like the PHX uniques persist into new encounters even if the relevant party members die.
You got the direction, as I mentionend the heavy healing happened against a single Chopper aswell.
To your previous posters:
My post was not about if or if not darkside teams are good against the Phoenix crew and I know that Hera spreads all uniques of them to each other but Choppers 15% recovery won´t explain 30k health gains of a 17k HP unit (Kanan might thought although he was dead).
