Maul Under DN lead

Zaul is a poor choice under DN. He looses most of his awesome unique.

Being able to choose between a zaul/DN lead on your arena climb is useful though. The rest of the team can be mostly the same.

yea Murphy was lookin at running them both depending on what i see im kind of a grinder so i will have all zetas needed

I like DN vs most rex teams or if they have GK. Zaul +SA if they have a faster opener I want to try to control.

I havnt had much luck with DN leader. I get he counters Rex and the lifesteal is nice but speed is such king that it's hard to use him. I've got zeta nihilus lead and zetas on maul lead and nihilus unique. I still prefer Zaul leader in arena even with all the Rex I fight. The tm gains and evasion is worth the leader slot imo.

personally I prefer to let my maul run without a DN lead (don't have maul zeta yet).
my mail has 64% crit chance, so when he gets rolling you want him to be able to crit on every hit and gain his uniques

Speed of DN lead is a non factor with SA. Yes zaul squads will still move first but there are plenty of counters for them. And you'll move faster than rex squads and most zgj squads.

I have a 277 speed SA, still get ruined

Zaul will get you to the top 20 more than likely but not much higher than that. Once I switched over to DN I usually finish top 3 daily. I sometimes switch over to my Zaul team depending on the opponent but for the most part my DN team (DN, SiT, SA, Dooku, Zavage or EP) is more stable.

So who else goes with those two in an arena team?

I run Zaul, EP, Zavage, Nihlus, Zylo.

and tbh I struggle to get below 60,

I'm working out sith trooper, but I've not heard great things, Im thinking of dropping Zylo (As great as he is) for another sith, maybe Dooku? to get the stealth thing going
