Merciless Massacre kit -- does it make sense yet?

"Darth Vader's bonus turns do not trigger other characters' effects based on bonus turns or Turn Meter gain."

AFAIK this is referring to other characters who have effects triggering specifically not from turns, but bonus turns. Does any character's kit interact with this yet?

Also, just pointing out while we're here that MM doesn't properly apply Merciless Target to "all enemies" if they're stealthed.

Based on the wording, it would seem to stop things like padme's bonus turns since they are based on anakin's turns but It doesn't. Only a dev could explain what exactly it's supposed to do

But Padme's turn is based on Anakin's bonus turn, not Vader's. I'm not aware of any interaction currently in the game that would apply.

That's what i said. The way i see it, based on the wording is Vader brings someone to half hp, triggers Anakin which causes him to take his bonus turn but Padme's bonus turn being an effect of another bonus turn doesn't trigger

  • Okay, so it sounds like it still isn't relevant. Just wanted to make sure since I forgot about it until now.

The wording could've been a little better, but what was really confusing was the "clarification" afterwards where the only takeaway is that it doesn't do anything yet, but they didn't actually say that.

Correct, that one line is future proofing, if that ever becomes a thing.

BTW I'm aware that No Escape removes Stealth and allows you to apply Merciless Target to a formerly stealthed enemy--talking about a still-stealthed enemy here though.

jawa7778 Vader attacks can trigger JKA bonus turns and then Padme bonus turns, as well as Malak bonus turns. Also Droideka charge.

I forgot about this since at the time I assumed it was meant to interact with a future GL kit, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

If you have any pics or video of the stealth removal not working that would be helpful, I have not seen it not work correctly.

Not the stealth removal from No Escape, but rather the application of Merciless Target to Stealthed enemies via Merciless Massacre, absent a No Escape zeta upgrade. Merciless Massacre says "all enemies."

So yeah, it probably broke something when they gave it to a stealthed unit (allowed him to target a stealthed unit or something like that)
Overall it doesn't really affect anything cause you shouldn't be able to target that unit anyway.
But I see what you are saying
It would probably cause more confusion if the ability was worded as "All units without stealth"
