Modding Omi Savage Oppress
Hi everybody,
So I know SO’s omicron isn’t super popular and a ton of testing isn’t available, but I was wondering what those who have him are doing for his modding. He suddenly seems to be VERY stat-hungry with his
Omicron ability.
I am currently planning to use him on defense under a Darth Maul lead… it’s a team I’ve been using forever, and I really liked the idea of giving a strong bolster to a team I’m already using with a single omicron.
I’ve given my oSO defense sets with three offense primaries. I wasn’t sure if the defense or health sets make him all-around more resilient, but I know it’s easier to underestimate strong armor compared to a high health pool. It’s hard to gauge if ramping defense or ramping Max Health pays better dividends, there are too many teams with health-based damage or True damage to decipher what my opponents are likely to use against this team.
I’m using offense primaries so that he becomes an offense threat as his damage ramps up. The DM team seriously lacks damage, and I wanted to mitigate that to a degree.
So the dilemma I’m having is, would it be better to make oSO more resilient to rely on his taunt to allow the rest of the team to ramp up and do their thing, or do I make him more of an offensive threat from the start?

DM, modded for health
SA, 281 speed (351 effective on turn 1, assuming no TM denial)
Sidious, modded for potency
oSO, modded for defense and offense
Nest, slow tenacity style
