I played droids for a long time. I really like droids. They are Just bad bad vs Rex. It's really hard to debate. One 88/hk aoe will award 37.5+ TM to the entire opposing team. That is a ton. When you purposefully create situations of TM ties at 100%, it's asking for trouble. I'm not saying droids can't beat Rex, I am saying it is far from easy and it's not the best option vs Rex. Its just a cost effective option.
You're JE is probably too fast if all your droids aren't hitting 100% TM at the same time. I am okay with stacking droids unless it's vs Biggs and Rex lead teams. Otherwise, it's a toss up.
